Preparation Instructions:You may want to vary the quantity of Pernod and/or the sugar to your taste. Pernod is an acquired taste. Coat the glass by swirling the Pernod in a chilled Old Fashioned. Then dissolve the sugar/syrup and add a few dashes of bitters. Fill with the whiskey and then garnish with a twist. Traditionally served neat.
