Pork Chops Braised In White Wine



(By Harlowe in California)

  • 4 Pork Chops With 1/4 inch fat on outside 1 inch thick
  • 1 tsp Chopped garlic
  • Dash salt & pepper
  • 1/8 tsp anise seed
  • 1/2-1 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Salt & pepper pork chops pour 1 tsp of olive oil in coverable fry pan sear pork chops on both sides remove chops drain fat pour white wine in pan add all other ingrediants and stir add pork chops cover and cook on simmer check after 20minutes for doneness add more wine if needed done just after pinkness disappears from pork
