Rosquillas de anís (ring-shaped pastry) Anise flavored doughnuts
3 eggs
2 glasses milk
150 gr. melted butter
1 cup anisette
350 gr. sugar
1 l olive oil
300 gr. flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
In a bowl put the eggs, the melted butter, the milk and the anisette. Mix well and then add the flour and the baking powder little by little. Mix all the ingredients until the pastry is well done (the dough must be a little thick to shape). Turn dough into well-floured board and knead until smooth and elastic; shape into little rings. Fry in olive oil (medium heat). Sprinkle with confectioners'
sugar and serve.
